I got this in my messages and wanted to share.

We have recently received increased reports that a third-party advertising network has been placing malware ads with downloads/re-directs onto our site.

We take this situation very seriously and are aggressively working with our network partners to get it resolved. All advertising networks have been asked to verify that they are not running these ads and to remove any ads that resemble these ads or mimic similar behaviors.

We will continue to monitor ad quality, with the help of our network partners, and keep you updated.

We appreciate the continued support and assistance from the community.

We will be updating the forum within the next couple of days. If you notice strange things going on, simply come back in a couple of hours.

For those of you interested, here is a list of things that will affect all users.

Minor feature additions to phpBB 3.0.7

* You can now see private forums in your ATOM feeds with permission.

Small functionality changes in phpBB 3.0.7

* Warn users about potentially dangerous BBcodes.
* Forum feed no longer includes posts of subforums.
* Show a proper preview for the Q&A CAPTCHA.
* Send time of last item instead of current time in ATOM Feeds.
* It is no longer possible to persist a solution for the login CAPTCHA.
* Friends and foes will not show up as private message rule options if their respective UCP modules are disabled.

A list of important bug-fixes since phpBB 3.0.6

* Handle export of private messages where all recipients were deleted.
* Improved search query performance through sorting words by their occurrence.
* Do not unsubscribe users from topics replying with quick-reply.
* Don't submit when pressing enter on preview button.
